Exams

1. PLACEMENT TEST

Placement Test is held to determine the language level of new students. According to the exam results, students will be placed in appropriate classes.

2. FINAL LEVEL TESTS

Students should be able to pass the final level tests in order to complete one level successfully and proceed to the next one. To be successful in the exam, students need to get the minimum grade in each of the four language skills, as defined in the TURKMER Regulation. Students who fail the final level test may retake the exam. If they fail again, they have repeat the same course level. Successful students are awarded a certificate of attendance.

3. MAKE UP FOR FINAL LEVEL TESTS

Students who fail the final level test may retake the exam, requesting to be given 2 weeks extra time for studying. Fee will be charged for make up exams. Those who fail the make up exam have to repeat the same course level.

4. PROFICIENCY EXAM

Turkish Proficiency is an exam which measures the reading, writing, listening and speaking skills of people who want to certify their Turkish levels.



At the end of the exam,
Grades between 65-75 are awareded with B1,
Grades between 75-85 are awarded with B2,
Grades between 85+ are awarded with C1 Proficiency Certificate.
